The Four Pillars of STEM
My son used to say he wasn't a 'math person.' Now he's building robots and can't wait for STEM class. That's the Crestwell difference.
Preparing Students for Tomorrow's World
In today's rapidly evolving world, STEM literacy is essential. Crestwell's integrated STEM program develops the critical thinking, creativity, and technical skills students need to succeed in the 21st century. Through hands-on projects and real-world challenges, students learn that failure is part of the learning process and that persistence leads to breakthroughs.
Our dedicated STEM lab and maker space provide students with access to cutting-edge technology including robotics kits, 3D printers, coding platforms, and engineering tools. Whether they're programming a robot to navigate a maze, designing a solution to an environmental challenge, or conducting scientific experiments, Crestwell students are active creators, not passive consumers of technology.

Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad
Crestwell students compete in Florida Science Olympiad, a prestigious statewide STEM competition held annually in Sarasota. Our team competes in different science events spanning physics, biology, chemistry, and earth sciences, developing critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific inquiry skills.
"Science Olympiad taught me that science isn't just about getting the right answer, it's about working as a team and learning from every challenge."- 7th Grade Student
Team Competition
Teams of up to 15 students work collaboratively across different science events at regional and state competitions.
Inquiry-Based Events
Events span the full spectrum of STEM subjects, encouraging hands-on experimentation and scientific inquiry.
State Competition
Our team travels to Sarasota for the annual Florida Science Olympiad state tournament to compete against schools from across Florida.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Each event involves students working together, developing communication and problem-solving skills essential for future success.
